About

Welcome!  My name is Becky.  Puzzles and Possibilities is my home on the web where I write about adoption and adoptee rights from the perspective of an adult adoptee.

I love to read, too.  So, you’ll find book reviews here from time to time.   If you check out my Goodreads list, you’ll see that I read all types of books.  Adoption-related books, of course.  I also read biographies, business books and historical fiction.  You’ll always find a couple of books about fitness, healthy eating and self-improvement on my bookshelf.  My latest obsession is the Outlander series by Diana Gabaldon.

During the day, I work full time as Manager of Export Compliance and Customer Service for a small manufacturing company.  Isn’t that a mouthful?

I’ve also been exploring what it’s like to own my own microbusiness.

I’m a bit of a geek – I love any gadget that starts with an i.   I also love learning and exploring new ideas.  That means I spend lots of time time on the Internet.  You’ll often find me online reading my favorite bloggers, watching TED talks or getting lost on Pinterest.

You probably think I spend a lot of time with my nose in a book or staring at the screen of an electronic device.  You would be right.  When I get out of my seat, though, you will probably find me in a yoga class or out taking a walk.  I don’t like to run, but I love to walk.  A lot.  The New Albany Walking Classic, a 10k walking-only event, is one of my favorite events.

Family gets me out of my seat, too.  Life would be even better if I could spend more time, camping, enjoying the outdoors with a grandkid or two, or on the road riding behind my husband on our Harley.

I’d love to hear from you – you can email me here.  You can also head over to the sidebar to enter your email address and you’ll be the first to know when I publish a new post.
